So of course once I told my kids its national pizza month they begged and pleaded and finally forced Ryan and I to order pizza. Five pepperoni and four cheese pizzas later our bellies were finally full (so we didn't get to tell them about cookie month or popcorn popping month). Remember to tell your kids about national pizza, cookie month, and popcorn popping month surely they will have pizza, cookies, and popcorn for dinner like ours. Aside from our fun and happy unhealthy dinner we went to the grocery store! Now to most that might seem like thats an everyday errand or even a chore, but in our house we only go to the grocery store twice a month and rarely they go with me. So going to the store with all of them it was such a treat. When your in the store with thirteen children all twelve or under it is bound to be quite an adventure. The older kids (Danielle, Audrey, and James) were wrangling the younger kids and teaching them to hold on to the carts so I was left to get all the groceries by myself. Thank Goodness for them. You will hear me say this often :). Our adventure at the grocery store did not start until the checkout counter when little five year old Orly saw her favorite candy bar. She said, "Mommy. Look! Mommy! EEEP! THEY HAVE CANDY!" and I simply picked her up and walked away from the candy. And she said, "What? No candy! I want the candy!" And thus her tantrum started. At first it seemed small. Until she threw herself on the ground was banging her fists and kicking and like always everyone stared. Thank goodness I had already handed my card to Danielle and she was checking out for me. I saw a few peoples eyes as they passed us and all I saw was pity. Then all of a sudden, she stopped and you could have heard a pin drop! She ran to the candy grabbed the candy bar, now there was laughter, and ran as fast as she could to an aisle. Once she saw me darting after her, what did she do? Open the candy bar? Please I have drilled it into their heads that they are not allowed to open anything in a grocery store. She throws the candy bar! All the way across the store. I mean she's got some arm because it hit the wall! So I grabbed her, spanked her little hiney, as she starts to cry I walk over to our checkout counter, sign the receipt, apologize for the wait, and fast walk out of the store with a crying Orly and twelve other kids laughing like hyenas. Well you'll have to wait until next week for another Orly story as for now we are home and I am enjoying the 31 unpacked bags.

Thanks for reading,
Riley.
